Hello!

I'm Amanda, and am currently a Peter Buck Fellow at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. 

I study martian igneous petrology, which is the chemistry of magmatic rocks from and on Mars. To do so, I analyze our only current Earth-based Mars samples: meteorites. I also specialize in data collected in-situ with Mars rovers.

I am also an artist, with professional experience in graphic design and illustration.
